Jehoshaphat Mkwakwami is an Apostle of God with humble beginning born in the small town of Mt Selinda in Africa from a humble of family. He is the first born from the family of Mr and Mrs Mkwakwami. While growing Apostle Mkwakwami was exposed to the church at an early stage. He used to sit around Pastors while His Grandfather was the President of United Church of Christ Zimbabwe. This early stage exposure is believed to be the foundational bases for the Apostolic Ministry that will be birthed in his early 20s. As of to date Apostle Jehoshaphat is a married man to a beautiful Wife First Lady Mkwakwami with 2 beautiful children.
Ministry
With an Apostle mandate to bring and teach the kingdom of to this generation according to Luke 17.21. At the passing of His Grandfather in 2007, Jehoshaphat begin to sense the agency of the call upon his life deepen. Practically speaking, his life was changed upside down. Its was like neon bulb went on. Everything became clear and real, nothing else mattered but Bringing Christ Jesus to this generation. At that time Jehoshaphat was attending AFM in Manchester United Kingdom. From this a successful youth ministry was birthed called Young and Blessed. That primary focused on educating, empowering young people to understand the benefit of being a child of God.
By the grace of God Young and Blessed thrived in the city of Manchester, many ministries and ministers were birthed. It seem God used Young and Blessed as a catalyst to launch local ministers into ministry looking back now almost 10 years to the genesis of the ministry we are in awe of the grace and glory of God.
At the end of 2011 it’s seemed like my time at AFM had come to an end as I Recieved an Phone from an Evangelist to come and see what God was doing at Spirit Embassy Manchester. Obediently I joined Spirit Embassy. I have to credit this ministry for at Spirit Embassy I was introduced to the working of the Holy Spirit and the Prophetic ministry. I believe this was my season of spiritual awaking where everything I had studied from the scriptures, book or heard was now happening right in my face. This the season the Holy Spirit used man and woman of God to prophecy, impart and activate spiritual gifts in my life. I still remember I was doing my Ba Hons degree, but most of my time was in spent in church praying or in the mountain praying. Basically you could find me in church or in the mountain praying or in people houses praying for people. Looking back now it was The Holy Spirit that energised me according to Roman 8. The Holy Spirit started to user me into the realms of vision and visitations. It was so awesome and profound how angels will accompany me on journey or just appear to communicate with me without knowing. But later on my spirit will be aware of the resonance and presence they emitted.
But it did last long, I was called to assist another Prophet to start his ministry in Manchester. I informed my Prophet of the decession that I was about to take and he blessed me and released to join the new venture. I was thr Pastor there for over 2 years. Then I had to shift again to join another ministry which was in Birmingham England. We suddenly opened another branch in Manchester, this was thriving ministry and the glory of God was manifesting greatly. I learnt a lot in the process.
Suddenly through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit I was informed to go into a season of prayer and concration for nearly 2 years. It was here whe El Elyon Family Church was birthed.
El Elyon Family Church
As the the vision for Young And Blessed to was to build Young God general. El Elyon Family Church is an international ministry with the community at Heart. EFC is Apostlic Prophetic ministry that’s is based on the Word of God and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. Hence the ministry was birthed from Luke 17.21
